SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring Works by Scavenger Art Creations
DESCRIPTION:Featuring works by Scavenger Art Creations\nJuly 16 – September 2\, 2026\nGallery Hours: 7 days/week\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.\nFree & Open to the Public \n  \nTim Taggart grew up in Brownsville\, Vermont. He spent his youth hunting and fishing\, and much of his adult life as a wildland firefighter while living in Nevada. After retiring from firefighting\, Tim and wife Pam moved to the Boise\, Idaho area with their five children. In 2019\, he  began sculpting with recycled metal and ignited his creative passion. With his creative mind and skill from welding\, Tim began to create his art from salvage materials and found objects. His work is designed to emphasize resourcefulness and encourage viewer engagement.\nTogether Tim and Pam scour for scrap metal at local flea markets\, thrift stores and yard sales. Tim uses anything and everything he can lay his hands on for example auto parts\, cycle components\, sprockets\, gears\, old tools\, horseshoes and metal scrap. His artistic gift is what gives a new lease of life to them. \nPam recently retired in 2021 as a teacher working with at-risk middle and high school students. Her creativity started back in the 1970’s when she used to macrame and crochet. A few years ago she decided to start up the macrame creations\, knowing that it would be something of interest and a fun hobby throughout the retirement days to come. To keep with the scavenger art objective of using upcycled materials\, Pam has also begun to create garden art using old tea pots\, glass bowls and costume jewelry. \nThe metal art created is rustic\, not polished or painted. “We want to create metal art pieces that are in their original\, somewhat rusty appearance to give it a unique look\, and also make it affordable for others to enjoy.”  Pam and Tim both have been selling their creations over the past 6 years. \nSince February of 2022\, Tim and Pam have been living in the town/village of Cambridge\, New York. “We wanted to move back east close to where Tim grew up and where the towns have a smaller population along with beautiful views of nature.” The goal is to continue creating metal art\, macrame and garden art in order to inspire others to appreciate the simple\, neglected items from which our creations are formed.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Mary Albyn
DESCRIPTION:Mary grew up in Ohio with a colorful family that boasted some creativity\, along with a lot of unstructured and undisciplined freedom. She had 3 sisters\, all born within 1.5 years of each other and a much younger brother. Her Mom was a socialite and her dad\, a horticulturalist who spent much time at his nursery growing and selling plants\, trees\, and rhododendrons. In early life\, her backyard was his 100-acre nursery. \nMary’s Great Aunt was a famous artist who illustrated children’s books and the weekly comic in My Weekly Reader. If anyone remembers the small mouse on the last page of the Reader\, that was Mary Sherwood Wright Jones’s signature. \nLiving in Rhode Island in the late 70’s\, Mary took lessons in oil painting at Don’s Art Shop in Warren\, a mecca for hippies and other wayward souls. Don was very Bohemian and lessons were a lot of fun with minimal structure. \nAfter moving to Vermont in the early 80’s\, she continued to study oil painting\, taking lessons with Barbara Frey at the SVAC. However\, she did not have much time to paint as she owned the Magic Sleigh Christmas store and had 2 daughters. \nShe happily entered single parenthood when the girls were 2 and 7 years old\, and returned to her profession of Occupational Therapy\, which she had studied at UNH. Her favorite areas of practice were Hand Therapy\, school OT\, and VNA home care. She dabbled in pastels for a while\, taking lessons with Robert Carston. Always fearful of watercolors after the forgiveness of working with oils\, 10 years ago she braved a watercolor class with Lynn Pratt\, a photo-real watercolorist from Pawlet\, who is becoming world famous. \nAlways a lover of frogs and the challenge of catching them\, her latest interest has been finding a picture of a frog and taking the challenge of replicating it. She spends time every day\, as she says\, “wasting time\, wasting paint”\, as well as playing with her puppy\, knitting\, and playing the piano. Retirement is nice! She married the wonderful Peter Palmer 8 years ago and they have a great life together. \nHope you like frogs!!!

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by The Hedden Family
DESCRIPTION:The Gallery at Equinox Village is excited to present an exhibit featuring works by The Hedden Family. A Gallery Opening with the artist\, live music performed by a Hedden family member\, appetizers and refreshments will be held Thursday\, March 19 from 5 – 6 p.m. The Gallery Opening is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display until May 6. The Gallery is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is free to visit. \n The Hedden Family always had an artistic inclination; dabbling in everything from woodworking and furniture building to painting\, photography\, needlepoint\, wood carving\, and even stonewall building. Most projects were done for enjoyment rather than profit\, though a few family members found creative and financial success. One went on to attend the Rhode Island School of Design and is now a full-time\nprofessional artist. All pieces in this show represent the family’s artistic legacy. \nBob’s artistic journey began in early childhood and thanks to the encouragement from his parents and grandparents\, he never stopped.\nHe took every art class available in high school and later continued with a few art history courses in college. \nAfter graduating\, Bob joined the family plumbing\, heating\, and Oilheat business\, where he became recognized for his expertise in efficient\nhome heating systems. Painting remained a consistent creative outlet during evenings and weekends for relaxation. \nA family friend in New London\, CT\, who was a fan of Bob’s paintings\, convinced him to enter the Mystic Art Show—a prestigious outdoor\nevent that takes over the town for one weekend each summer. As a first-time exhibitor\, Bob was placed on a quiet residential side street with\nlittle foot traffic\, resulting in zero sales. To add insult to injury\, near the end of the day a passing dog lifted its leg on his watercolor-on-wood\ndisplay and ruined several pieces. Bob took that as the universe’s way of saying not to turn his art avocation into a vocation—and he’s been\npainting for fun ever since. \nIn 1999\, he added stonewall building to his creative repertoire. \nBob has a large family and one very special person who treasure his work\, so nothing in this show is for sale. It’s simply here for you to\nenjoy.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit: Works by Andrew Longacre
DESCRIPTION:This exhibit will be on display from January 15 – March 4\, 2026. Equinox Village’s Gallery is open 7 days/week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. There is no cost to visit the Gallery. \n  \nMy Dad\, Dr. Andrew Longacre\, a physicist\, would occasionally dabble with paints when vacationing. (Winston Churchill did likewise during WW II to relax.) My Dad’s Aunt Lydia Longacre was a professional portraitist in NYC who ultimately painted portraits of her family members\, even as her eyesight was failing. Lydia’s father\, the Reverend Andrew Longacre\, developed a delicate watercolor expertise that he used to record scenes from his travels (rather like an old-time Brownie camera). The Reverend’s Father\, James Barton Longacre\, was a renowned Philadelphia engraver\, who prior to becoming Chief Engraver of the Mint\, produced sepia portraits from life of early American statesmen\, ultimately for publication. And\, should I mention\, too\, that my mother’s Uncle Edwin B. Child was a founder of the Dorset Artists\, which spawned the Southern Vermont Art Center. \nIn the light of this obvious legacy\, it’s perhaps surprising that I did not take up the paintbrush and palette until I fully retired from my career in software design at the age of 63\, and then asked\, “What shall I do for fun now?”. A friend of the family coached me in watercolor techniques and materials\, but after several years I discovered oil paints – much bolder and easier to frame. After also dabbling with pastels\, I ultimately migrated to acrylics\, which don’t smell and dry faster. Thus requiring a lot less patience and a smaller studio. \nI describe myself as a “representational” artist; trying to paint pictures that are quickly recognizable as objects one would see in ordinary life. There is not an “abstract” bone in my body. I’m also a “studio” painter. I work from photos taken of scenes\, objects\, or paintings I would hope to emulate and learn by. In the last several years\, I have started painting on relatively small canvases in tiny detail. My large motor skills have diminished to where it’s gotten hard to draw a straight edge. Still a lotta fun! \nLastly\, more than half my starts end up in the trash can\, but the occasional success is a reassuring victory. And\, what I can show today is those across the years… minus what I have given away to friends and family or bigger canvases that were purged when we downsized and moved to Equinox Village. I’m glad to be able to show off what remains of my work!

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit: "Blind Sight" by Jane Johnson
DESCRIPTION:  \nTHE GALLERY AT EQUINOX VILLAGE PRESENTS \n“Blind Sight” by Jane-Ann Bachelder Johnson \nNovember 20\, 2025 – January 6\, 2026 \n  \nManchester\, VT – The Gallery at Equinox Village is excited to present an exhibit titled “Blind Sight” by Equinox Village resident\, Jane Johnson. A Gallery Opening with the artist\, live music performed by Mark LaChac\, appetizers and refreshments will be held Thursday\, November 20 from 5 – 6 p.m. The Gallery Opening is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display until January 6. The Gallery is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is free to visit. \n  \nJane Johnson states\, “My artistic journey began in 2006 with my first art lesson in Sanford\, NC\, alongside a group of retirees and our incredible instructor\, Barbara Berman. She was a talented artist and a natural teacher\, especially gifted at identifying each student’s unique strengths. At the time\, I entered the well-known Sanford NC Brush and Palette show – novice category\, and to my surprise\, was awarded a blue ribbon. The judges’ feedback read\, “She has a perfectly skewed perspective\, but it works\, to which my husband replied\, “I could have told them that!” They also appreciated my sense of color. \n  \nThis show was inspired by our Activities Director here at Equinox Village\, who thought it would offer a unique perspective: My journey before and after October 2024\, when I became legally blind. \n  \nMy hope is that this exhibition will be a source of fun and lightheartedness. My art tends to be a bit frivolous\, and I encourage you to come and enjoy a laugh. I believe I haven’t strayed far from my novice period; my perspective is still wonderfully skewed. \n  \nFor connoisseurs of fine art\, please forgive the playful nature of my work. You’ll see my “Vermont Impressions” paintings\, which are a whimsical take on the French Impressionist period\, along with my pierced portraits and floral arrangements\, all designed to bring a smile to your face. \n  \nI especially encourage young art students to visit the exhibition\, share their comments\, and pick out their favorites. I believe we are all born with a sense of humor\, and I hope you’ll engage yours and enjoy the show. \n  \nThis exhibition is dedicated to Pete Johnson\, for always striving to understand me for 65 years. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family and friends for their tremendous support\, even if accompanied by quizzical looks. Special thanks go to Barbara Berman and my original art class\, to Andrea Stoehr\, Ginny Longacre\, and my wonderful daughter\, Amanda Williams\, for their generous supplies of fabric and other materials. And to Dricka Kimball\, for truly “getting it!”” \n  \n  \nThe Gallery at Equinox Village is located at 49 Maple Street in Manchester Center. To learn about upcoming Gallery Openings and Exhibits go to equinoxvillage.com/gallery/ or call Kara Waite\, Activities Coordinator\, at (802) 362-4061.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring works by the Shutterbug Club
DESCRIPTION:The shutterbug club was formed in 2013 by members Jon Davis and Kimberly Burke. Having the desire to learn all I could about photography I relied on Jon’s knowledge and experience in photography. We decided to form a club\, and Jon invited another well-versed photographer in the area to join us. During the next few months\, we gathered a group that also had the desire to learn the fundamentals of photography. Over the course of several years\, we’ve enjoyed field trips\, workshops and eventually showing our work in many venues\, mainly in Southern Vermont. The knowledge we gained through this group set us up to expand on our own personal style and grow our passion as photographers. While over time\, the members changed the goal to expand our knowledge remained. Though the club has been mostly retired in recent years and many have developed their artistic approach on their own\, we remain “The Shutterbugs”. \nWe are pleased to come back as a club and show you\, our work. Vermont and the surrounding areas have a special beauty and it’s a photographer’s playground. We hope you enjoy seeing that beauty through our eyes and lenses.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring works by Amanda Taft
DESCRIPTION:Amanda Taft is a wedding and portrait photographer based in the quiet valley of West Arlington\, Vermont. A farmer’s daughter turned storyteller\, Amanda has a deep love for connection\, nature\, and the in-between moments that often say the most. Her photography is a reflection of her life—rooted in simplicity\, emotion\, and meaning. \n  \nWhen she’s not behind the camera\, Amanda is usually trying to keep up with her three kids sports schedules\, working on the family farm\, or tending to her highland cows. These everyday joys shape the way she sees the world—and the way she captures it. For Amanda\, photography isn’t just about pretty pictures; it’s about preserving the feeling of a moment\, the way someone smiles when they think no one’s watching\, or the quiet calm between the big events. \n  \nHer approach is personal and relational. Amanda takes the time to get to know her clients\, to understand what matters most to them\, and to make them feel comfortable being fully themselves. Whether she’s photographing a wedding\, an engagement\, or a family session\, her goal is always the same: to tell your story with honesty\, care\, and love. \n  \nAmanda works with people who value real over perfect—who aren’t afraid of a little wind in their hair or mud on their boots\, and who know that the best memories are often the messy\, beautiful\, unexpected ones. \nFor more information\, check out Amanda’s website\, https://amanda-taft.com/

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Ken Ahlering
DESCRIPTION:I’ve been painting realistic images of America in oil for over 50 years. I am mostly self-taught. From very early youth\, I’ve been attracted to realistic drawings and oil paintings…The Old Masters\, with their long tradition of mastering the skills needed to produce beautiful color\, composition and light. I knew then I wanted to emulate them. \nI looked at paintings by the Dutch Landscape artists\, the Hudson River School\, American Western Artists…old and new…and the like for inspiration. I was given a set of oil paints by my cousin\, who thought perhaps that I could make better use of them. I remember my first attempts\, a Chevrolet auto\, a local church and a portrait of an old man. These early works are long gone\, but I can still picture them and even remember the struggles to produce them. I can almost still remember the proud feeling I had as family and friends admired them. \nAs things worked out\, my interest in art had to take a backseat to the realities of everyday life. From time to time\, I would take a night course in painting and try to sharpen my skills. However\, I have found much more time to pain In the last ten to fifteen years and have made a new beginning. When my pal\, Betty\, helped me discover that people were willing to pay for my paintings\, I got a new sense of satisfaction that is hard to describe. \nEach of my paintings reflect my feelings\, or what I prefer to be feeling: peaceful\, serene and American. I try to portray images that remind people of a place and time they can remember. I specialize in American landscapes\, seascapes\, especially the Jersey shore\, and skiscapes of my favorite ski areas in Vermont. \nMy paintings should quiet a room\, slow the pace of the viewer and start a conversation. I want my paintings to become family heirlooms\, passed on as familiar parts of a family’s environment. My work has been displayed at SVAC and Epoch. I\, also\, have pieces scattered around the country\, overseas and even at the U.S. mission in Uzbekistan & the Dirksen Senate Offices. SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Austin Spencer
DESCRIPTION:Austin Spencer was born and raised in Bennington\, Vermont. His passion for landscape photography blossomed after he underwent chemotherapy at age 17. That experience gave him a profound appreciation for life’s brevity\, and he felt compelled to express his love for nature and Vermont’s beauty. \nStarting with a simple camera\, he eventually invested in higher-quality equipment and began capturing every moment he spent outdoors—whether fishing in rivers and ponds\, hiking on trails\, or simply exploring the woods. He’s passionate about showcasing the natural world’s splendor through the lens. As a photographer who thrives outdoors\, he finds inspiration in every  expedition. \nAustin’s goal is to share the awe-inspiring landscapes and serene moments that make outdoor adventures unforgettable.\n\nThe Equinox Village Gallery is open 7 days/week\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Austin Spencer’s Exhibit will be on display starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday\, March 20th and runs through May 5. SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring Liz Saplin Photography
DESCRIPTION:Liz Saplin’s interest in photography dates to the 1970’s when her college chum introduced her to photography and to the remarkable work of Henri Carter-Bresson. While in Paris for New York University’s year abroad program\, she studied language\, linguistics\, and art (at L’École du Louvre). Liz tried to emulate scenes from Carter-Bresson’s photography. To a tiny degree\, that was achieved perhaps once\, in a photo which to this day remains her favorite image. It is included in the exhibition at Equinox Village. \nAfter three different careers spanning a few decades\, Liz found that her love of art and interior design re-emerged. Liz began shooting again and used her photographs in artisanal stationery\, under the name studiozazu. From there\, she moved into square format images. These images light up the imagination as there are few extraneous elements to distract. Recently\, she began exploring larger\, rectangular images which lend themselves well to landscapes\, architecture\, and still-life. \nLiz discovered a way to marry her love of all things French with her passion for photography. While regularly posting her photography on Instagram\, she began following French Instagram photographers\, [easy to spot by their names]! In 2017\, she created a Photo Challenge with a French partner and has more than 1\,000 French followers (never posting all at once!) The Photo Challenge remains vital 7 years later. With her Lilloise partner Babeth\, they curate submissions from participants and once weekly\, they select their Coups de coeur and repost them for the community to see. These are generous and vital people\, thus the Coup de coeur recipients receive lots of congratulatory comments within minutes of the reposts. Hundreds and hundreds of French Instagram photographs have certainly inspired Liz\, as their unique style leaves an indelible mark. \nLiz Saplin’s oeuvre /work features Vermont\, Paris\, and Brooklyn\, NY\, the seasons\, still-lifes\, as well as a wealth of superb flowers. \nThis 2023-2024 year\, Liz exhibited at the Weston Rod and Gun Club\, and for a second time at both the Weston Playhouse Winter Bazaar and the Peru Fair. \nFor more information: studiozazuvt@gmail.com or www.studiozazuvt.com

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring Works by Beth Murphy Botanicals
DESCRIPTION:Beth Murphy Botanicals\nBeing a forever admirer of nature and all it supplies us with\, it is no surprise that I was led to work with pressed botanicals as my medium. Flower petals\, stems\, leaves\, grasses even some vegetables make their way into my presses to yield one surprise after the other. I work these amazing colors\, shapes and textures into mixed media collages where paints (acrylic or watercolor) and hand printed papers are used to accent the organic beauty. My hope is that these works allow you to experience nature in a new way as well as opening up to the use of botanical materials as an art medium. My artwork is created in  my Vermont studio and incorporates the flora and reflects the landscapes of New England\, the Midwest and the Mid-Atlantic. I cannot over stress the relaxation and peace that is achieved while working with organic materials. \nFor more information on Beth Murphy Botanicals visit her website at https://www.bethmurphybotanicals.com/#/ or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/bethmurphybotanicals\n\nEquinox Village’s Gallery is open 7 days a week\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. It is free and open to the public. SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit Featuring Works by Marion Fleming
DESCRIPTION:Marion Fleming was the child of a first-generation\, Brooklyn raised mother and father whose ancestors had moved to a Vermont mountaintop to escape coastal Yellow Fever. Her parents meeting had everything to do with economic status\, hard work\, love of nature and humor. These elements formed her worldview and are infused in her art. Local people\, covered bridges\, season foliage and the well-known Mt. Equinox were all part of the Vermont scenery she cherished. She later moved to the foothills of the Catskill Mountains where the open spaces provided her the opportunity to hone her landscape artistry. \nWhen her daughter joined the Army and was stationed in California\, she caught the travel bug and eventually visited Russia\, Central Asia\, Switzerland and many places in the U.S. You might see scenes from several of these locations in her art. \nAdvised and encouraged by Norman Rockwell\, Marion studied illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn\, New York. Her memberships included the Cooperstown Art Association\, the Central New York Watercolor  Society and the Southern Vermont Art Center. She had nine one-person shows including exhibits at the Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester\, VT and the Cape May County Art League in Cape May\, New Jersey. Her work is represented in many private collections\, businesses\, and museums. \nPainting took Marion away to another place and it always brought her the deep joy. It is her children’s wish to share that joy with you as well.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Ashley Reherman
DESCRIPTION:Now living in Bennington\, Vermont\, Ashley Reherman was born in Houston\, Texas and moved to Schenectady\, New York when she was five. After high school\, she attended college in Towson\, Maryland. Her life changed dramatically when she met her husband\, then in the 82nd Airborne Division\,  through family friends. Thanks mainly to the U.S. Army\, they have lived in 5 different states\, including Alaska\, where their son was born. Moving around sparked a love of travel and adventure in Ashley. Experiencing new places and people every few years taught her the importance of capturing significant moments\, people\, and places – documenting that which\, to her\, is beautiful and important and preserving the essence of those moments.  \nThere are pictures of Ashley with a camera as a 9-year old\, but her passion for photography truly took hold in her high school years. Primarily a self-taught photographer\, she has also studied under various photographers whose work she admires and has grown her business organically over the last 18 years. While she is mainly a wedding/family photographer\, she finds her peace and calm in travel and nature photography. She has been featured in the Baltimore Sun (online) as well as Click Magazine\, Harford’s Heart Magazine\, Southern Vermont Art Center\, several wedding blogs\, and local businesses in Maryland and Vermont. Ashley’s greatest joy in photography comes when one of her photographs connects with someone and allows them to feel the emotion or wonder created by her image.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Tom Atkins
DESCRIPTION:Tom Atkins is an artist\, photographer\, and writer based in West Pawlet\, Vermont. His work has appeared in magazines\, books\, trade publications\, marketing materials\, galleries and in many private collections. \nCreating art for the past 30 years\, Atkins works primarily in watercolor\, oil on canvas\, pencil\, as well as pen and ink. \nHis pen and ink work derives from real places – castles\, mansions\, cottages\, spiritual spaces and abandoned buildings long fallen into ruin and disrepair. Pencil works tend towards the fantastical and fantasy\, with its black and white realism in counterpoint with the shades of gray blending into one another. \nAnd his paintings? \n“I am primarily a poet\,”  says Atkins\, “ and my paintings are like poems\, capturing an essence of mood with color\, line\, and space. They have become my first love. ” \nFor more information on Tom Atkins\, visit his website\, https://theartoftomatkins.com/

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit: Wild Woods II featuring Kristina Martin & CJ Lyttle
DESCRIPTION:The Gallery at Equinox Village will present an exhibit of combined works\, titled Wild Wood II\, created by photographer and owner of Whistle Wing Prints\, Kristina Martin\, and woodworker\, CJ Lyttle. The work of these artists is wholly inspired by nature\, particularly birds. CJ’s interest in carving began in the 1970’s when he was given a shorebird as a gift\, and he eventually found that the art of carving was his calling. CJ will also be sharing an exhibit of framed classic lithograph prints from the limited-edition prints “Classic Shorebird Decoys” by Milton C. Weiler. Including old carvings from a collection\, most lacking the maker’s name. Kristina began birding in 2016\, which led to her love of photographing wildlife\, landscapes and farmscapes. The artists met at Valley Artisans Market\, a 40-year-old artist’s cooperative in Cambridge\, New York\, where they are active members and exhibit their artwork along with 25 other artists. Their shared interests in nature and art absolutely motivate each other. \n  \nYou don’t want to miss this show! The show will be open daily\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.\, November 18 – January 4\, at the Gallery at Equinox Village\, 49 Maple St.\, Manchester Center\, VT  05255. \n  \nFor more information please contact Kristina at whistlewingprints.com or Kara Waite\, Equinox Village’s Activities & Events Coordinator\, at kwaite@equinoxvillage.com or (802) 362-4061.

SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit: Artwork by Lynne Averill
DESCRIPTION:Art and design run in Lynne Averill’s family! Her maternal grandmother\, Edith Dulles Snare\, was one of the founders and friends of the Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester\, VT in 1950. Her mother was an award-winning flower arranger; her father a corporate executive\, with a woodworking studio off the garage; her sister was a painter with a needlepoint design business; her son\, Barrack Evans\, is a photographer and owner of Battenkill Bicycles in Manchester; and many artistically talented and successful cousins. \nSouth America\, where Lynne lived from 1952-1958\, influenced her attraction to lively\, vivid\, saturated colors. Vermont has a whole different palette and feel. Both environments\, as well as extensive travel\, have influenced her work. \nIt was in Lynne’s thirties\, with two children off to college\, that she became seriously interested in art. Taking a two-dimensional design course in the Portland School of Art’s (PSA) Continuing Studies changed her life forever. Within three weeks she knew she wanted to enroll in art school full time. She applied and became a PSA degree student. She graduated in 1981 with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Painting. \nLynne has since created abstract works\, landscape paintings in acrylic\, pen & ink and pencil drawings\, mixed media pieces\, photography\, photo montages\, collages\, calendars and assemblage. Her artwork\, through exhibitions\, has taken her to many locations in San Francisco\, CA and most of the New England states.
