Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Diane Meitrott

Diane brings life to LIFE with her mastery of color and technique coupled with her natural affinity for capturing the spirit of her subjects. Self-taught and self-motivated, Diane uses her talents to convey essence into form and magic onto canvas with her portraits of animals and nature. The magical murals she has painted at the hospital and pediatrician’s office in Rutland and the side altars at St. Patrick’s Church in Wallingford bring comfort and delight to children and adults. She has painted many other beautiful murals in private homes as well. If you would like to view any of Diane’s public murals, please inquire about them when you are in the area.

She delights in participating in artful community projects for auction. These include: Pallets of Rutland, Trains of Rutland, Candles of Poultney, Benches of Bomoseen, Bust for Cancer Awareness, and Hearts of Rutland.

Diane is a lifetime Vermont resident. She has raised three amazing children: Dylan, Kyle, and Sarah and is a grandmother to Cole a ‘beautiful soul.’ Her hobbies include knitting, needle work, folk art, belly dancing, gardening, hiking, and playing the West African Djembe. She resides in Danby, Vermont
